Welcome to YPro Waterpolo

Established in 2007 in Brooklyn, New York we are currently based at the pool at the Kings Bay Y Community Center of Sheepshead Bay.  We started with 10 kids in the 8-10 year old range, and have grown to a club with 90 children in the 8-18 age range.

Yevgeniy Prokhin began his water polo career in the former USSR at the age of 8. When he was 15 he was invited to play for club Dynamo Almaty in Kazakhstan. He has played in the top water polo leagues for many years and his active water polo career included spots on the former USSR Senior National Team as well as the Men's National Team in Kazakhstan. In 2000 he participated in the Sydney Olympics as a member of the Khazakstan Men's National Team.
